The handover of goods is a high risk-related phase of drone transport. The minimisation of risks requires the development of specially designed unLoading Stations (LS) where several safety and commercial factors must be taken into consideration:

• When releasing goods, it is important to ensure that the direct contact of drones with humans is minimised.
• The property of a third party or subscriber shall not be damaged or stolen.
• No damage to transported goods – special loading station/loading bay, thoughtful packaging.

Unloading stations shall have a connection to DSMM for sending delivery messages and to MM. Unloading stations can be combined with charging stations.
